Looking for a new scope soon...

Well the Hawke reticles aren't what I'm looking for. No floating dot. 

I was thinking about the Nightforce for awhile and how I could try to make that work but honestly not a fan of the reticles. The MIL-XT looks good except the center dot is way too congested. If I'm gonna drop that kinda money on a scope I have to love the reticle and I don't sadly. 

Well talking to Doug there going to get the Ares ETR 3-18 scopes in in the next 2-3 weeks. Told me his price and well let's just say one will be coming to me when he gets one in.

Also all depends on personal experience but I find my Midas Tac to be much better glass than my SWFA 10x42s were. Not saying they were bad and in fact are amazing scopes for there price, but my Midas Tac is a definite upgrade. I did own a 3-15x42 for awhile but wasn't thrilled with it. I found the fixed power versions so be better.

Have you looked at the LPVO scopes? They are fixed parallax, but you crank down the magnification level and you see clearly with no issue. This means that you don't have to fiddle with the parallax knob at every change in yardage also. You can order them directly through the company as well, so you can get the Christmas tree reticle with the floating dot you want also.
