I would like to buy a HPA BB gun, full auto,and singe shot or a small burst, No C02 guns, Maybe one I could convert to HPA from C02 , Just thought I would hang this out and see what happens,

Drozd Blackbird. They originally came CO2, but they can be modded heavily. Mine was done by Mason Dawson at ([email protected] )
Mine is shooting at 1000 fps, and has burst modes. You can set it on single shot, three shot burst, six shots burst and full automatic which is really nasty! On full power it’s doing 4000 rpm and just makes a buzzing noise, really fun to cut up cans with. My favorite setting is the three shot burst, you can pull the trigger really quickly and it’s three shots with each pull lol!
They need special batteries that dump power quickly, but you can get a charger kit. They are definitely quite loud on HPA and will absolutely attract attention from a long distance. Shoot Mason an email and you can learn about what’s available. You can’t get them from Russia anymore, but they show up on eBay once in awhile. And Mason probably has some ready to go. Extremely addictive fun lol!

I think I bought the one on classifieds , If so I am going to need help with the supping up stuff and getting it to shoot bbs at 1000 FPS that was the biggest selling factor, Shooting a short burst of steel BBs at 1000 FPS That would be so cool....

Mike, that’s a good deal on the Drozd in my opinion. Even if it’s well worn and needing new parts Mason can get it done. It’s a blast to shoot bb’s at 1000 fps! And it’s surprisingly accurate at 20 yards too. Slap on a red dot, or better yet a laser and your in for a lot of fun. I know nothing about the actual mods, and I just had Mason set it up for me. At 4000 rpm it literally chews steel cans to shreds. The Daisy bb’s aren’t uniform enough for the modded Drozd and will jam it often. But the Black Diamond bb’s work perfectly. Not sure what Mason charges these days, but he’s already figured out what works well and has all the parts needed. Good luck and have fun.

The BB gods of fortune smiled on me and the Drozd Blackbird I thought I lost suddenly showed up!
I know this is a bit of a dated thread, but do any of you Drozd owners know what the thread is on the barrel? I am a 3d designer/printer and want to adapt my moderator design to fit.

Yea a little old thread , I cant help out with the Drozd, Never got my hands on one,
I did get a electric Barra BB gun, Its a lot of fun shooting BBs at 400 FPS , I could not in my mind think of a Drozd shooting BBs at 1000 FPS Really missed out on that one.
