That price/FPE on the .357 looks great. Found the DonnieFL adapter and the Ronin moderator is recommended.

Anyone have experience with the sound level? How quiet is it?

They are loud. Very loud. The Bulldog .357 is a great option for a big bore and a good price, so much so, I bought two! But, if you can get the DonnyFL Emperor (the long one), then the noise is tamed significantly. Just as an idea of how much of a difference it makes, I use this in a residential neighborhood at night for raccoon pest control. When shot from a window with the suppressor a foot from the window sill, the impact of the round is 5 times louder than the shot.

What pellets and slugs do you folks fire in your Bulldog?

I've used Predator Polymags with great success. Very accurate out of my Bulldogs, and a great choice when you want to limit over penetration. I think JSB Hades will also do well here, and be a cheaper alternative to Polymags.

For those bigger critters, I've been fond of the NSA 110gr HP slug and the NSA 142gr slug.

I have yet to try the FX Hybrid Slugs on game, but it is very accurate at 25 and 50 yards.
