I was just wondering what you did with that defective G2 barrel if you don't want it. I was thinking maybe I could try to find a drill bit that would fit , and try to make that chamfer myself. Maybe I could trade you something for it OV.My G2 didn't shoot tiny groups.
My G2's rifling defect was in the transfer from the chamber to the rifling, or no chamfer. So the rifling peels lead fragments that foul the barrel, and make the bolt hard to close. I sent it for warranty and they said that it was in spec. So replaced it with an FX Crown.

I have actually already bought the tools, I'm just dragging my feet. I have to wrap my head around what else might need to be done, and figure what replacement parts, O rings etc. that I'm going to need.I was just wondering what you did with that defective G2 barrel if you don't want it. don't bother with trying to borrow it, just make a after-hours appointment with your granddaughterIs there any chance that the file size of the photo is too large? Someone will know.
It would be interesting to see. My bore scopes aren't small enough for a .22 air gun bore, and I keep shuddering when I see the cost of one that is.
On the other hand, my granddaughter is a dental assistant...hmm, I wonder if they lend out their stuff?![]()
