Yeah I am not a big fan of that particular problem.
I let them go though as field mice would be rampant without them. I just weigh down the turtles shell/lid.

Ive got a few around here with a 17 fireball. But this little guys got some balls on him lol. I think he just wanted a burger and dog for the 4th today!!

It looks like a Lynx. I love seeing the smaller predators around here... mainly gray and red foxes. They help keep the small rodent population down... in theory anyway.

Yea Im gonna let him be. The pack rats around here are horrible. Many many vehicle bills from their damage!

I have been lucky to have B cats and G foxes help me keep the rodent problem somewhat under control at my place. Just shoot pictures,of them you are blessed to have them help you. I have trail cams that show how those small predators really work at night to sort of keep things in balance.
JamesD did have a good point though, weigh that sand box lid down, don't tempt that cat too much.
Your kids are lucky to have nice CAT equipment, and nice to have the Cat rep drop by once in a while.

That's someones Cat, it's not a bobcat or a Linx, it's one of those Cats that look like a wild cat but it's not, it's a Bengal or Savannah cat, house cat. probably one of your neighbors,

Its hard to tell in the pic, but its every bit of 25-30lbs. Its back feet are massive too. She’ll be back soon, I’ll try and get some better pics next time! Theres tons of bobcats around here, ive seen many when calling for yotes.

one way to find out...... Here Kitty Kitty..... if it come up and meows it's a house cat, if it attacks and rips the skin off your face, It's a Wild Cat.....

One thing about cats. There is nothing better at hunting and killing right under your nose. I'm a trapper for 35 plus years.I get a lot of permissions because of them. Fox and coyote are killing everything, yes sir, and it's loose cats all along.
