Thank you, kind sir. Information noted and appreciated. Even though the wood stock on your gun is beautiful, I'm more into synthetic. The first damage, of any sort, to my wood stocked guns, was always like a knife to the heart. When Taipan comes thru with a synthetic stock, sling stud mounted, front rail installed, in.22 standard, I'm there. Mid gun lever would be nice, but I'd just be happy with synthetic, as described.
