Woohoo, good looking set up! Let us know what you think of that Talos. I'm wanting to upgrade my wife to an Athlon (from her cheapo Vector) and the Talos looks to be surprisingly light for a full size FFP scope.

Yeah, at 6'-4", I've had to try a few different tripods to find one that both fit and was stable. One didn't go high enough, one didn't have a wide enough base to balance with the weight of the gun. Plus my cheap-ass didn't want to drop hundreds on one of the high-end units. This setup is working well for me.

I picked it up from Utah Airguns. Like all the major dealers, shipping on guns is free. They had it out the door in 4-5 days after they did test shots. FedEx had it to my door in a few days (I'm in NH, so considering the distance, delivery was actually faster than I expected) 

Utah Airguns is a GREAT place to shop!!!!!!!!! This is my second gun from them (CondorSS last year) and they will always be my first place to look. GREAT service, fast handling times, great communication. If you are going to get a Taipan, I recommend you start with them.

That hurts, man. That hurts a lot. That's the area where the dogs run around, so I gave up on that area years ago. The rest of the yard looks good, I promise.
