I assume no ill effects on keeping it at that high pressure for long periods like my little Leshisy air tank, could it shorten your o-ring life?

What do you call long term? If it's months and months I'd bring it down to 200bar. If it's a week or two I wouldn't sweat it.
Of course max pressure puts max strain on the orings. But that said they're cheap, but maybe not fun to replace.

I have herd several reviewers and manufacturers state storage at regulator pressure for regulated guns. But all state to store pressurized. For what it’s worth.

Higher the pressure ... shorter is an o-rings life period !!!
If putting a PCP gun into storage, IMO take it down to 500# or even less & bring back up to usable pressure when putting it back into use.
