Long shot with WC Compact

Just made this 114 yard shot with WC Compact on a spring of the year chuck. Strelok Pro gave me the holdover and the shot went right into the throat. Shooting JSB 25gr at 870fps. Chuck ran about 5 yards and dropped. This is my longest chuck shot to date. 6:30pm 6/26. The Compact will perform!!

He wasn't that big which made it even harder to hit, around 3lbs. I'm used to 8-9 pounders which make a very nice sized target. Thanks Bob, my all time longest so far was 135 yards on a starling with the new Compact. Couldn't do any of it without my Bushnell rangefinding binos and strelok app. I shoot from 80-100 yards all the time and that makes the long shots much easier, especially when the wind is calm like it was tonight when I shot this one. My next mission is to get the Redwolf sighted in at 100 yards with the 25gr 22cal beasts. Then i will mount the sideshot and give a video post a try. The thud this hit made was amazing, the wife said I didn't hear you shoot but I heard the impact. I was laying prone on the deck 5 feet in front of her. The DonnyFL KOI at it's best. The Compact is definitely a winner for me. This is my 3rd woodchuck with this gun and the results are spot on.

Nice. I have an SWFA Fixed 10x with side focus on my Daystate Huntsman Regal. 22 and love that scope. No glare/milky issues because it's a lower magnification. I've heard about the glare issues with the fixed 12x, 16x and 20x models and having to install sun shades to "fix" the issue. The Koi looks perfect on the Wildcat. I have Donny's Sumo, Fat Boy, Koi, Tanto, and a Neil Clague LDC that I switch between two rifles and they're all quiet with similar sound signatures. What impresses me is Donny's Tanto moderator which I just received. Same diameter as the Koi but shorter (5 inches) and it's hard to tell the difference between the two as far as quietness. I've been thinking about getting a Wildcat or Taipan Veteran in .25cal for my first bullpup. Been saving up for the meantime. Anyways, good shooting and nice rifle. It's a nice feeling when you make those long range shots on small game.
