I haven't hunted in a couple of years but I enjoy long range (100+ yards) shooting with PCPs. I have FX adjustable rings on 3 of my guns. Recently I had an idea and decided to test it. I have Strelok Pro on my phone and have been tinkering with it. I came up with this way to extend my range for long targets instead of just using holdover and mil-dots. I tested it on a target 157 yards. I ranged the target(can) and put the info in Strelok. Using the "reticle" feature that shows where the POI is I aimed crosshairs on the can and tilted the scope so the crosshairs would center on the POI in Strelok. After this I aimed crosshairs on with the can. I fired and saw that the pellet struck about 2-3 inches to the right of where I aimed. I adjusted and "lo and behold" Impact!. I tested it on items ranged from 100 -140 yards and each time I was so close it only took a minor adjustment to hit the items. I never changed the turrets just adjusted my aim point.
