About an hour ago, the neighbor lady called and said that SOB is down by the creek. This is smart crow and has been causing mischief down at her house. For the last week I just wouldn’t take a poke at him because the wind was really unpredictable. Today he was at 145yrds and in line with my wind flag. When I had a steady 4mph crosswind I held 1 mil left and nailed it. I have been focusing for months on first shot accuracy and predictability out of this gun and really only tested out to 114yrds. Maybe I just got lucky.
I kinda hated to shoot it because I found what he was doing down at her house kinda funny and I liked hearing the stories. Oh well, he had a good run. In the first pic I zoomed in to max and circled his little carcass. My wind flag is on that post beside that target so I could watch it as I aimed with both eyes open. Things were not in his favor.
