Long arms and the FX Crown...

I came up with a quick and easy and not too bad looking way to extend the length of pull on a FX Crown, possibly other Minelli stocks...

Materials needed:

Two pieces of tubing: 12mm OD, thin wall works best... Carbon Fiber or Brass or …???

I had some brass on hand that fit my needs...

Two #10 coarse thread wood screws, the length depends on how far you're extending the butt pad... I'm extending mine 1"...

My tubes are 1.25" long, to make up for the recesses in the stock, my screws are 2" long...

Take the adjustable butt plate apart completely... Here's a photo of the parts...

The 12mm OD tubing fits directly into the recesses on the wood stock...

A little sanding was required to decrease the OD of the two bosses on the part of the butt plate assembly that mates with the stock, mine needed a little bit shaved off to fit...

Next, reassemble the butt plate assembly using the longer screws with the spacers in place...

My stock is now 1" longer and fits me much better...

The butt plate can still be adjusted just as it could from the factory, it's just 1" longer...

I could polish or paint or CF wrap the brass pieces, the end of the stock is finished from the factory, I don't think it looks bad at all... I hope this might help someone else...

Thank you, hopefully someone else can benefit from this easy way to increase the length of pull... I'm 6'1" with a long torso and arms, my rifle fits me much better now...

Just an FYI: after adding one inch to the length of my stock the rifle with 600mm barrel still fits in the factory case...

hey you have to have the riffle fit looks hideous as but if that's what its so be. normal riffle is 13 3/4 I think everyone's shooting style is to each is own. shoot it see if it helps

Thank you... It fits me better now, rifle and scope are dialed in pretty well, we’ll see if I can put a couple shots together tomorrow at the Trenier 100 in Sparta, WI tomorrow, not make a fool out of myself... Wish me luck, my first ever EBR competition...
