It's best to store it in the freezer after opening to prevent the product near the cap from hardening. I should've mentioned that part from the beginning.

It's best to store it in the freezer after opening to prevent the product near the cap from hardening. I should've mentioned that part from the beginning.
I use purple most of the time, sparingly. When cracking into a used gun or removing a scope I grab the heat gun and solder gun.
From my days restoring and tuning bikes I learned to use Park tool anti seize where aluminum meets steel, and the grip version for steel / aluminum against carbon fiber. Put some in the CF sleeve on my impact for good measure.
