Centercut, from what I observed at pyramid air cup:
They open magazines before timer starts. Once timer starts, they pour half a tin of pellets into it, swiping hand across. It does not matter which direction pellet goes in.
Then they put cover back on and twist it to lock it.
After that magazine is inserted into rifle.
I believe there is no spring and rifle is advancing magazine on next round.
Took about 8 seconds from the start of timer to
I don’t understand, can you please elaborate?
Without locking in the first pellet or having some other wAy to load the spring, the magazine wouldn’t rotate to the next pellet after each shot. I’m wondering if the side shot guys, including Thayne, who made the gold magazines know something we don’t. I get the pellets going in correctly or incorrectly but the crutial part would be loading the spring???
You know, John mentioned an indent, even if you didn’t have one, it would be easy enough to make one. You could drill a small hole in the side, put in a pin, load, pull out the pin and shoot as you normally would. The speed event would be the only time you’d ever use it unless you wanted to shoot pellets backwards often.
