Listen to Ed and clean your barrel! - EDgun R5's

https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/edgun-matador-r5m-50-60-yard-groups-video-inside/

In the link above Ed mentioned to clean the barrel every 100 shots or so on the R5's. I believe in one of his videos he mentioned his R5 gets cleaned every 50-100 shots to keep the accuracy top notch. I didn't think anything of it as I normally clean my barrels when I get a new rifle and that's that. I have yet to do that with any of my rifles until today.

Got the R5 .30 out to try and shoot some groups with it and noticed the accuracy was a little off. Not the one hole shooting I was used to. I switched my hold, rechecked my zero, and same thing. So I went ahead and decided to clean the barrel just in case. Sure enough, it was dirty in a similar fashion to what I would expect from a barrel coming out of the factory. All I did was spray it down on the inside with some Ballistol and run patches through it until they were clean.

Took the gun back out on the range and BOOM! One hole groups again!

Moral of the story: Clean your R5's barrel if you see a change in accuracy and do it regularly! I neglected mine for about 300-400 shots based on my shooting.

I worked a lot to desing it to be as simple as possible for the user to handle it. Happy to hear that my work was made in a right way :)

Thank you for all the work, it is certainly a success.

But that isn't all... this thing can shoot!
