Tuning Liqui Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Gear Lubricant

Hello everyone, brand new to both the forum and owning a pellet rifle! I recently purchased a Gamo 6110017154 .177 Cal Varmint Air Rifle. I'm happy with the power & accuracy, but it's a bit noisy with some vibration. I understand that this is normal, but in reading around I see this can be lessened by using "Tune in a Tube", which is essentially a thick moly based lubricant. Anyone every tried using Liqui Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Gear Lubricant? I would bet it has more moly in it, plus it costs considerably less! I've run it in my Jeep differentials for years, it's great stuff. Good idea or bad idea?

If it's thin enough to run out of a bottle, it's going to be everywhere inside and out of the gun.

It will likely run in front of the piston seal too and diesel like hell eventually.

Personally, I think you would cause more problems than it would solve.

Take it apart and lube it with some proper lubes, and it would likely make a big difference. Otherwise, I'd just leave it alone.
