Alright guys here's the skinny you can take whatever you like from this information. Neither party was able to provide full details or an accurate timeline.
Linsfreak agreed to send the rifle before receiving complete payment. Linsfreak sent the rifle after receiving $400. The remainder of payment and terms was unspecified to me.
Antj paid a $400 deposit and agreed to pay $100 every other week until paid off. He received the rifle, lost his phone, contacted Linsfreak via email. Final payment wasn't due until the 19th, which I believe has now been paid in full.
The entire situation is a bit confusing without all of the details or an accurate timeline.
My suggestion is... if you're going to make some kind of deal with weird stipulations at least keep good record of it. And I strongly advise against "airing your laundry" until the terms of the deal have expired. Publicly accusing each other of wrong doings with little to no proof doesn't look good for either party.
