Does anyone have and use or used a Limb Saver Deresonator? I have purchased 1 for my .457 Texan. Haven't installed or fooled around with it yet, was curious if anyone has used 1 and what difference has it made to your shot groups? Thanks.

I have no first hand experience, sorry. But I have heard they can work quite well on long barrels and/or powerful airguns. Basically the more vibration, the higher chance you can find a node that the deresonator will affect.

They’re a crap shoot. I’ve tried them on several guns, sometimes they work pretty well, other times, not so much. I figured for $15, why not give it a try. I wanted to try it on my Impact but I use a sleeve to tension the barrel, no way it get it to work right. One of the guns that it did work on pretty well was our Condor. It looked a little goofy but I don’t care, I’m concerned with accuracy. Give it a try, on something like a .45 or .50 it might even work better.

I've tried these a few years ago on a full length LW barrel that is free floated. It was on a 12ftlb RAW TM1000, and it did work. I am experimenting with custom made plastic weight(s) on the barrel. The Limb Saver did work to a degree, I felt it was too "floppy", and didn't mellow the barrel fast enough. This is why I'm adding smaller, plastic weights on them. Might even make a hollow one, to hold some kind of deadening fluid. Maybe hydraulic fluid, or some other appropriate medium.
