Lighter Weight Woods Walker?

So I have a pretty great collection of rifles right now thanks to 1 great introduction to Ernest Rowe and I was able to snag some really great pcps from his personal collection that he was parting with over the last few months. All of them are amazing but they are all heavy when scoped and geared up which isn't a big deal because each serves and purpose and I use them on tripods but the one thing missing from my collection is a woods walker something light and something I can keep simple. I have a impact mk2 .30 sniper, a impact mk2 .25 compact, standard veteran .25, a custom compact crown mk2, and my only non Ernest gun is a pp700 but thats for close work and set at low power. I was thinking wildcat mk3 as my woods walker but looking for other options I know they can be different person to person just curious what else has a chance to fill that spot. Looking to be at $1500 and under multi shot magazine probably a .22 and on the lighter side. Thank you all in advance.

It's not the correct gun for you, but I just dropped a Benjamin Prod into a bullpup.chassis last night and it is sweet, well under 6lbs scoped up.

There's awesome guns like the the Leshiy 2 that are great for packing, they tend to be less powerful and noisier than they're rifle/bullpup counterparts. There's a real gap in the market for a super lightweight bullpup, IMO. Maybe the new tactical chassis that Taipan is supposedly coming out with will help start to solve this.

Not sure what distance or power you need for your woods walker but you know you have plenty of options with your budget. Have fun shopping here are some of my picks cheapest to another full kit 

$-First is cheapest and that is drop the scope one of of those 3 same looking rifles in the last pic and put a immersive 5-30,10-40 on it and a sling mount 

$$-pp750 and tube it for more power to your liking and again immersive optic with shooting sticks over 25 yards

$$$- leshiy with light optic immersive again could work

$$$ taipan compact sling light scope immersive

Plenty more options as Im sure you will read i dont want to push immersive on you its just they are small and light and that seems what you are after i would not recommend one if I diid not own and like one or actually now 2

Side note, nice collection I always wanted and planed to get an fx with my scandinavian heritage but a taipan got in my way of good deal and no negative reviews and now have no need for any fx, dang taipan I wanted that made in Sweden label.

My personal rifle for walking would be my Revere. It's my lightest rifle, and has the same feel as a rimfire sporter, very natural for supporting against a tree to shoot. With scope, I think it weighs about 8.5 pounds. My next choice would be the Royale 400, but a bottle gun doesn't suit me as well for hunting, just a personal preference. I expect the newer FX rifles might be sturdier, but my Crown would shift POI with the slightest bump. I would avoid any barrel liner system for hunting. The solid barrel Royale is very robust in comparison.

I did see the new veteran stock but haven't been able to find to much info on it like the weight, price, and when it will be available.

around here im bound to run into something big like a 'granddaddy' raccoon looking at me sideways and snarling, so if i was actually walking to spill blood (which i dont) id want 50fpe on tap .. personally, if i had a high$ gun i wouldnt be galavanting off through the brush water and sand with it lol .. so slinging the mrod .25 would likely be what id do ..

I get what your saying about big boys but the woods walking im thinking about would be for squirrels and such wanted to keep it light and compact so the mrod is on the longer and heavier spectrum. As for the $$ priced guns thats also why I am hesitant to try and make one of mine a woods walker when pesting of posted somewhere i put them on the tripod once o am where I want so not really getting banged around. Yes the wildcat is on the higher price spectrum but it was made for that purpose and think it has proven itself.
