light compact scope ? Has to be FFP ?

I am getting my New prophet in soon I do not want to weigh it down , I love my Athlon Helos scopes but heavy as all get out , Is there such a thing as a compact light scope 6x24-50 , I just sold my 4x16 hawke it was light just could not see the reticle in the scope and that really affects the accuracy of the scope, Ha. I am going to budget 800 maximum for the scope... Seems pretty easy to get a super good scope but when you add in the light weight there all gone.

Man that is such a tall order in that magnification range and objective size in a short package. There will be a compromise somewhere unless you pay to play. Even at that, you'll give up one thing for the other even in the higher end price range. What is the maximum weight in ounces would you be able to deal with?

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22×50 but price comes in at $1200-$1500. Weight comes in at 21.7 ounces, length 13.3". One drawback is the 25 yard minimum parallax adjustment.

Tall order... — hunting the unicorn again.... 🤣

🔸 The Vector Veyron models were already mentioned — with some cosmetic changes and a different reticle you can have the same in the Discovery VT-3 model line (Discovery usually has thick outside posts to help FFP reticles be visible when on low mag, Vector often does not).

🔸 Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP
24.6oz
$400

🔸 Element Helix 6-24x50 FFP
26.0oz
$480

🔸 Sightron S-TAC 4-20x50 FFP(!)
25.6oz
$660
BUT: only 20x top end

🔸Hawke Frontier 30 FFP 5-25x56 (No. 18540)
24.8oz
$850

🔸Hawke Frontier 30 FFP 4-20x50 (No. 18530)
22.2oz
$800
BUT: only 20x top end

🔸 Swampfox (US company) Patriot 6-24x50 FFP
24.0oz
$300

🔸 Discovery ED 6-24x50 FFP
25.8oz

🔸 Nikko Diamond FFP 30 6-24x50 FFP
Reticles: PRR, or Skeleton HMD

🔸Vector Marksman 6-24x50 FFP

Ooops.... I missed the $800 budget. March 3-24x sub 21 ounce post deleted.....

I have a Sightron S-Tac 4-20x on my Factor RC and like it quite a bit. The FFP reticle disappears for me at 4x but interestingly when I turn on the illumination I can see it again on darker backgrounds.

Something to think about - If you put a BulzEyePro on the eyepiece you can get a 30% to 40% increase in magnification. It works sort of like the Eyepiece Zoom fixed power March benchrest scope, magnifying the target image and the reticle at the same time. Your 20x becomes a 28x with no visible loss of clarity or brightness and no change in POI. It slips on and off in less than 3 seconds.

THANKS Everyone for all the suggestions , Its going to take me a week to go through all the scopes , I have the Athlon Helos 6x24-56 on two of my guns love the scope but makes the gun heavy, My Prophet , even with the 700 cc tank on it is pretty light until you add the scope and bipod, when I get the new Prophet II compact in I will report on the scope I install on it.
