LGV or TX200 in .22?

I have a TX200 mk1, 177, Lgu 177, and LGV 22. The 22 is the smoothest by far but only 700ish ft/sec w 14.3s. I personally like the Tx the least even though it has the best trigger. All are pretty equal for accuracy to around 50 yds. The Tx is most hold sensitive and has the most felt mechanical impulses.

Soo... that's the short version on mine.

I would go with the LGV, I had a 177 TX and have a 177 LGV, still have the LGV and wouldn't trade or sell it.

I don't even shoot my R9 or HW97 anymore because of it. I sold the TX before my HWs because I didn't like

how it shot and got tiring cocking it all day long compared to the rest.

To me the LGV is more pleasant to shoot all day long and easier for me to shoot accurately and is pretty quiet.

At the end of the day my criteria is to shoot guns that are relaxing and easy to shoot all day long that don't

give me any stress or fatigue by early to the middle of any given shooting session.

I can make it to the end and still be relaxed with the LGV.

I am not a power hungry shooter when it comes to springers FYI, I get more stressed and fatigued by the increased cocking effort

and extra concentration needed to shoot magnum springers accurately. Not helpful for trying to relax and enjoy the sport.

It was a .22. My buddy came over and shot it and wanted it bad enough I let him have it. When you have a bunch of PCP's and the new wears off and you find yourself hardly ever shooting it anymore, it's just easy to find a new home for it? LOL

It had probably sat here for a year without me shooting it, and probably doing the same at his house now? LOL

I know you are right about the PCPs, but I will tell you what, every time I take out the Springer out of obscurity, I am so glad I did. Albeit, to be honest, the HW30 is always out, but gets shot to no more than 20 yards.

The Springer gives me a real challenge. At 30 yards my Mini is stupid boringly accurate. The Springers make me a better shooter all around. Patience, Breathing, Trigger pull and control, Hold....pretty much everything must slow down and the brain has to kick in.

Thanks Gary. It comes with the 23J. I will most likely change it to the Vortek upon arrival (also 23J) Will shoot it first and evaluate. But I purchased the trigger as well, so I will be doing the tear down anyway. The .177 was in FAC power, so I put in the 12fpe Vortek and mine had a lot of grease from the factory. Knowing Krale, I bet it will be here by Friday or soon there after. Will keep you all posted.
