LGU + Wind = mixed results

Managed to get an hour behind the trigger today after yard work and closing the pool for the season. Winds were far from cooperative at 10-15mph coming from all directions. 30 yard groups were pretty decent, 50 yard was WTF!?! I did manage to go 10 for 10 on the 2” diamond at 60 yards and 6 for 10 at 73 yards. The Rowan trigger is insane breaking at just under a pound. A Maccari full power spring is sending JSB 15’s down the barrel at 662 FPS for 15.5 fpe.

Nice shooting!!

As a newbie to springers, could you tell the brand and details on the rifle? I don’t know what LGU means…..

Ive been looking at an Air Arms TX but I really like the look of yours. Thanks

It’s a Walther LGU. Very similar to a TX200. They are no longer in production but can still be found. I prefer it over the TX but that’s just personal preference. Both are great rifles

Fantastic shooting! What a beautiful rifle! Those are good groups any day.

What vortex do you have? Holding up good on your springer? I got a vortex crossfire ll 4-16x40, guys at vortex told me it was air gun rated, I'm thinking I'll use it if it will take the abuse.

It’s the Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50. It has about 1000 rounds on it with no problems yet. I contacted them as well before I purchased it to make sure it was covered
