Funny story here, Some of you may know that I bought a Regal and had problems with it out of the box, so off it went to AOA. The rifle was sent back to me and a trigger adjustment was the problem. I was not going to mess with a brand new rifle and ruin my 3 year warranty. Well on with the story. I mounted the Leupold scope on the weapon and I start to dial things in. A little windy here today so I took this into consideration when some of my pellets were flying off my aiming point. At least I thought that at first.
I started to think that maybe this Regal is a bad one, as the pellets were going further away on every adjustment I made. I put the gun on the rest and scratching me head, I thought what the hell is going on. Now I never owned a Leupold scope in my life and the dials on the scope were backwards. Here the up and down was the left to right and the right to left is up and down. I could not believe it and I started to chuckle once I started to cut paper at 30 yards.
I then came in and called Leupold and told them about it, I told the man that I thought you guys did things differently and had their adjustments different than other scopes. Well he started to laugh then and I was laughing. long story short he told me I can pop them off and change them but to get them to snap back in would be the problem. They do it with a press. I am not going to try and remove those caps on a 300 dollar plus scope. I am not sending it back until I remove the scope again as it is shooting great now. The team at AOA did a great job setting the gun up and it is a deadly weapon now. Maybe I can give the Marauder a break. Moral of the story, trust your rifle, not your accessories. I am writing this wondering if this happened to anyone on this forum or something as goofy as my scenario... Take it Lite.....Pete (A.B all the way).
