Say a vx3, can it handle that small shock from the hammer? I had a cheap sightmark. Wont hold zero well. I put on a lrp leupold i had around and it holds rock solid but dont want to damage it.

I had a VX2 in the mid 90's mounted on my RWS Diana M48 in .177 springer and it destroyed that scope. It was not holding zero and when I removed it, i could hear something rattling inside when i would shake it. Maybe the newer versions could handle them. Not sure but Leupold has an awesome warranty.

Leupold I know for sure are rated for ANY rifle . Airgun or Powder Burner . Some Magnum Springers will eventually destroy any scope in time .

Since you probably know better than anyone: I have a RWS 460 mag .22, and I have been thinking about broken scopes for a year. What scope will hold up longest and not have an issue when it goes back, maybe even years from now?
Fixed power is fine as an air gun is only good for 100 yards or less.

I got ahold of leupold. They said it will be more than fine. This scope is way overkill tho lol so I might go with the 4-14 lrp.

Hello, I was very satisfied with a Leupold 3x9 33, rimfire, on my RAW I mounted 6x18 40 AR Leupold I am disappointed with the optical quality and parallax setting not very accurate.
