Up until not that long ago I bought scopes like I bought wine. If it was more expensive it might be better. Might. Now I know better but I still don't know ... truly .... if any given scope really is not only what the manufacturer says it is but functions exactly as is specified.

Joe, how did you gather the knowledge to understand the aspects of scope construction that you go over in this video?

My good buddy Ted Winkle . He's the guy I know who is an expert on optics. He's an engineer and machinist and work trade shows with SWFA . If it's worth knowing about scopes he knows it .

I'm redoing this video .. Original had waaaayyyy too much background noise thanks to a neighbor leaf blower . New video will be up by tomorrow.

Joe, did you say in your video that when you changed the minimum yardage to 20ish yards that it also limited the max to 70yds?. Maybe I just misunderstood with all that racket in the background. LOL.. Your neighbor was probably just waiting for that opportunity.

Yep the AO maxes out at about 70-80 yards . I can still see clearly and shoot further but there is a perception of Parralax beyond that . I knew it ahead of time when I sent it in.
