Leupold Alumina Thrd 50 Ft. Focus Adapter question

I bought one a few years ago. It works well, I used a Leupold scope that the near Parallax was 25 meters. Screwing the adapter on I could use the scope at 10 meters. Back then the best price I could find was link bellow. The only reason I don't use it more is because my Leupold scopes are either duplex or dot reticles. For an air gun I prefer multiple aiming points so I can have an quick aiming point for our rainbow trajectory.

I have a 50-foot adapter on a Mark AR 4-12x40 AO mildot. My primary purpose is barn work, where shots range from 20 to 40 feet on mice. Without the adapter, the image is fuzzy, and the radical floats around the target with the slightest movement. It works well out to 30 yards; then the image gets glassy.

Screws on the end, just like all other Aluma accessories.

Nice. Does the AO still function correctly on the scope? With the adapter installed can you still focus at all distances? I also want this for my Mark AR Mod 1 scope.

The focus still works, but you will have a much smaller range. If your scope normally focuses down to 25, you will get from about 10-40 yards will the adaptor on. I have a couple scopes that only focus down to about 12, and I use the leupold adaptor to get my ranging done on the short field targets. It doesn't fit those scopes properly, so I don't actually shoot with it on.

I’m trying to figure out how this adapter functions. Does it have a lens that focuses closer? Does it also change parallax?
