Let's talk Delrin.

Often Yes, but do so with seat to seat area wet with a bit of WD-40
Spinning seat to seat DRY often will squeal or chatter totaly screwing up an otherwise polished looking sealing margin you would have otherwise ;)

Finally, a real use for WD-40! 😉

I've just used a drop of Balistol on the seat. Didn't think of WD.

The have sheets, rods, & tubes at possibly a better price than Amazin

Maybe this will be of help

One can machine it with a drill press but I'd doubt with accuracy needed for PCP stuff.

I have some delrin stock that I make o-rings and square rings out of. IT's pretty forgiving material -- often a "near enough" o-ring is good enough to function, i.e. it handles huge tolerances. So you can often get by. But compared to properly machined delrin my work is awful.

A quality lathe is not exactly expensive…

I’ve had a Sherline for about 35years. They can do small parts and the learning curve to use them isn’t too steep. You’ll be surprised at what you can make with them.

I agree. Cost isn't the issue with me, it's garage space.
