That look like something out of a Road Warrior movie 😁

Which adapter do you use to mount the bottle to the air tank?
If you could have rounded off that pistol grip area a little bit more it would look like a pirates pistol almost

Ray1377 funny you should say that. I had just watched The Road Warrior about a week before I started this build. That's how it got its name lol. This is my cut down Maximus stock. My son likes the vertical support against his palm/wrist area so he left his like you seen it. That's me in my first match with it in Baton Rouge

Ha Ha, Who says great minds don't think alike??

That is a cool looking setup.

Thanks for the pics

Ray

New guy here. Here is my recently completed build. Everything was done by me in my garage shop. New parts are breech, bolt, bolt handle, power adjuster, transfer port, cocking dingus, ( what the bolt hits to cock) and barrel shroud.

Incredible roll your own example -

Would you happen to have another one of those breeches you'd want to let go?

SCHWEET!

Just got MadMax back from Joe Garland. The Curly Maple stock turned out great, fits my hand really well. He added some carbon fiber and a muzzle cap to the barrel as well. Cant wait for this FT season to start but I only have one Pistol FT match lined up right now.

Nice build, I remember you showing it to the fellas at one of Roz's ft matches -

It's evolved very nicely, must say!

I've been fooling with a bottle build myself, but in carbine form.

What length are you cutting your Maximus tube to? Did you use one of the JDS Airman drop blocks? Ray and myself are inquiring airgun minds and need to know lol!

Also like the way you hid the reg/plumbing in the Maximus stock belly - well done

EDIT YOUR PFT STOCK ROCKS!

Have admired your builds for quite a while - very inspiring!

Glad you like them here's another 4 you my favorite 1377

DAQ breach

I fergot who made the grips Actually it was Rick to bad he stopped making them I need another pair and he was good.

Modified valve

Flatop piston

Gamo rifle rear sight modified Crosman front sight

LW barrel

Aluminum barrel band

Carbon fiber suppressor.

One of my favorite guns.

Stolen in late 2010

I have near enough parts collected over the years to make another now but I can never replace the grip set.

Very nice builds. The ingenuity is great. Whatever happened to the Hi-Pac kits for the Crosman pistols? I don’t know who made them but I had a few nice pistols.

I never minded single shot rifles but definitely prefer multi shot in pistols. A Crosman hot rod? A Ataman or HW? A Custom EDgun?
All nice but none as easily & beautifully modified as The Crosman’s are.

I agree, I got much better gun, but keep coming back to thinker with the crosman, just too much possibility and bottom line is you're enjoying the whole process and parts are just everywhere.

I forgot his name but the one that made the Hi-Pacs came under fire from a few after a couple of exploding guns and injuries that they claimed were the Hi-Pacs fault. I think that is why he quit making them. I know for sure one of the exploding guns was caused by the owner builders error in the build of the gun. He used the Hi-Pac unit incorrectly and pressurized the area behind the unit and did not secure the valve when he bulked the gun and used it at 3K psi. He let the single #6 screw that holds the stock co2 valve be the only thing holding the o-ringed Discovery valve after the gun was sealed up to be a PCP. He was werqing on it when it, sheared the screw, let loose and put the Discovery valve all the way through his thigh. Ouch! I'm glad he still lives. The Hi-Pac unit broke off and flew across the room and stuck in the ceiling. He was filming at the time of this incident so it is all on you tube somewhere.

I'm liking this Mad Max build, good idea of using of using spare Maximus stock, and they are cheap too.

Thank you. And no, I don’t have another. That was a trial/setup piece that ended up working as the final piece. While I enjoyed making it, it was certainly a pain in the butt. The extra height over factory means longer parts need to be made. Seemed to be “something” at every turn. Had I known there was a riser for the steel breeches, I’d have likely just bought one.
