USFT Let's see those USFT's!

Tom Gaylord has written 2 separate multi part articles about these guns. The first was a 3 part series in 2007 and later a 4 part series just his year (2023). I'll start by showing my USFT that was previously owned by a competitive shooter who unfortunately passed away. When I received it, it had a leak. I repaired the leak and then sent it to Tim McMurray for a full service. It is supremely accurate and an absolute joy to operate.
It has had many upgrades and modifications. It was the second gun that Tim added a second regulator to. It has a custom upper block, titanium air cylinder, and a Lilja 3 groove 3/4 inch full bull barrel. It is currently wearing a Vector Optics Minotaur 12-60x60 scope, which has been the best target scope for the money I have found for critical benchrest. It has a 34mm tube, focuses down to 10 yards and has a zero stop. Best under $1000.00 high mag target scope I have found. Let me know if there is anything else out there I should try.

Please post yours so we can all enjoy and keep track of these limited production guns.

I'm sure I have pics of another half dozen somewhere but...

All had very nice triggers and seemed to apply pellet to target well.

Some photos within this topic...

LD jumped in a couple times with insight from the inventor himself.

Ok, seems like a good place to post some pics of my new Mac 1 Hunter #132. It was a long wait but in the end all I can say is this gun is everything that I wanted it to be. At this point in time I wouldn’t say that I have any kind of real experience with it yet, other than getting it on a Wednesday, scoping it up on Thursday, getting my dope on Friday and shooting BCSA and PSA on Saturday and Sunday. Having done that so far, I am VERY HAPPY!

@oaks1450, did it come from Tim with that buttplate and grip or are those your own additions? I ask cuz they're different than what I've seen him use for the last 8-10 years.

By the way, I REALLY like the silver color scheme.
Thanks @Franklink , it came with the grip and butt stock shown in this picture. I switched over to a butt stock that I ground out in my basement, out of some aluminum pieces I got off of eBay. Shown in a previous pic. The new gun comes machined to accept an AR style grip. For now I just put the one I replaced on my Impact. So I guess if there might be a knock on this new gun it would be the grip it came with, but the fact that it has so many possibilities is good! I’m still waiting on a butt stock that was supposed to come with the gun. The silver just kind of worked out they way it did and honestly I’m glad it did! I originally wanted a black barrel holder or breech? Long story short, I got silver and was told it was the first Signal Hill, CA that was sent out.

PS The thread you created was extremely informative and helpful! Part of the reason I decided to post this on here, in hopes that this can also grow with informotion.

I have been collecting them since 2007 and I really try hard to get the ones that LD has built or worked on. We have one he didn't work on for sale right now, send me a note if interested. We work on them as well.

Here is a group shot of the current collection. At the top is the first one Larry Durham made by hand.. Simple Simon #1 and two of the only 4 he made in pistol form on the left and right.
