Let's See Those Benchrest Guns

I'm going to buy an air rifle for benchrest . I will only be shooting from a bench so I really want something set up to shoot in my rimfire rest . Haven't decided 100 percent on which gun yet and you can't find much to look at or read about on the web , so I would really appreciate it if some of you guys would post pictures of your rifle and setup .

Thanks, Chris

There are only 2 Airguns made with stocks designed to be used in a rest….Raw and Thomas.

If you are used to shooting unlimited Rimfire….you can expect wind drift with .22 cal 25.4 gr pellets to be triple what you see at 50y with your rimfire. They can be very accurate….but move a lot. In the right kind of wind, you can get over 2000 on an ARA card if your gun is spot on. Most conditions you will be far less than that. Just some info that you might be curious about.

These are Thomas rifles. Look up RAW to find some pics of those.

Here's mine. RAW TM1000, .177 cal, polygonal barrel no moderator, Randolf front rest, Sightron S3 scope. This one has an FT stock, but a BM stock would be better. I used this for USARB 25M competition. For 25M springer class, my FWB 300S with a Mueller 8-32X target dot scope is tops. For long range, any FX impact will work. Best with slugs, but you'll have to add a power kit. I use either my 22 cal MK2 with slugs or my 30 cal MK2 with pellets. That also has a Sightron S3 with MOA-2 reticle and a Sinclair F-Class bipod.

What is the one piece rest?

You know...in Canada our winters mostly lasts from Nov to Apr and you don't want to step out from house.

I had way to much time in front of me tinkering and browsing internet, and ended up with DIY. I designed myself based on some parts amazon can deliver or I can 3d print (with resin and not with wire filament), also I have no access to machining lately, my friends machine shops are diagonally other corner of Toronto.

These are a lill older pictures still from development, but finally I have it - not really pretty but modular, it can accommodate any shape and dimension rifles. And works pretty well at the 100 bench, the extrusion is filled with #9 lead-shots.
