Lets see some gun rests

This rest was made by the local High School VoTec Precision Machining Program. It has been sold in close 50 countries around the world for over 20 years.. A new Progressive School Director killed the project because it was gun related. Now this is Karma. That liberal POS is suspended and awaiting trial on Federal Child Pronography Charges. The instructor, my pb shooting buddy, has since retired so they will never become available again. That's my TX 200 and targets after winning a 20m match.

Many, many years ago, I purchased a Unertl block to Weaver mount scope adapter from your friend. I considered his rifle rest as well but I already had two Hart pedestals and couldn't justify the cost.

This is a couple pictures of my home made windage and elevation adjustable rear monopod. I've shot both the 200s I've shot on the 30 yard Challenge with it. It works very well but the threaded piece is just all thread from my "junk" drawer and the female threads are in threaded rod couplings. So the threads are kind of sloppy. The vertical post goes into a "Uncle Mike's" style sling attachment cup inlet into the stock. More recently I've been using a Caldwell Rock BR front rest and a bunny bag in the back. I have not shot a 200 with this setup but I have shot several 198s with at least 3 different rifles so I don't think the Caldwell is an issue. I use a home made wood + lead block that clamps to the picatinny rail on the front of the gun's stock to interface with the Caldwell.
