Let us not forget June 6th

We all support and know how great our veterans are. Let us not forget this day as well. On June 6th 1944 D-Day landed 135,000 men to defend our freedoms and stop those who would try to take it. Thank you to all of those who risked and or gave there lives to defend that freedom so the rest of us could live free and pursue the American Dream.
God's speed to the men and women who believed in and defended that promise.
Thank You from those of us who have benefitted from your sacrafices.

Thank you for the reminder. Dad was in the Navy at that time. But I don’t know where he was then. His brother’s ship was sunk off the coast of Africa in 1943. He and other men floated in a lifeboat for a month before being discovered by a Spanish fishing boat.
