Leshiy Hammer Diveting?! SOLVED (Non-Issue!)

Today, I noticed this divet forming. I have only run around 200 pellets through my Leshiy so far, and the HST has remained near the middle of rotational clicks.

Is this wear "normal"?? I'm getting the feeling that this part would need to be changed rather frequently :/

I think they all do that and I haven't heard of it being an issue. At least every picture/video I have seen the hammer looks like that and mine does too though not as bad as yours.

Hmm, that makes me kind of nervous. I seriously hope that it doesn't become an issue - I'm also a little surprised that the metal used wasn't a slightly harder class / grade.

I bought a backup valve, I might take the one that is in there out and measure it against the new one. I have to wonder though how the diveting affects VDT / shot dynamics. I don't know if the diveting tolerances are accounted for in the design when I extrapolate the thoughts.

Would you prefer hammer to be harder than valve rod? In this case one should to replace valves to often. The cave in the hammer cannot grow up for ever, there will be local hardeness and it will work that way for a long time, if you will meassure it -- about 0.2-0.3 mm. That is normal.

What do you know about EDguns anyway?

J/K lol! Thanks for posting sir!😁

@EDgun, that was all that I needed to hear. Spasibo!
