I thought I'd share a couple of enhancements I'm working on with my EDgun Leshiy.
I added a UTG 5-position folding grip to my Leshiy. It has a tool storage compartment that I thought would be perfect for storing the two hex keys (2.5 & 6mm) needed to change the barrel and adjust the hammer spring tension. I used my bench grinder to shorten both ends of each wrench so that they would drop down inside the storage tube of the grip. Depending on how you have the grip folded, it can function as a regular grip or elementary rifle hamster.
Also, after using the Hawke chairgun app for ballistics, I began searching for better apps that have the specific reticles in my new Vortex Diamondback and SWFA FFP MOA scopes. I tried Strelok+ and then bought into Strelok Pro. The pro version has all sorts of projectile lookup tables built-in for powder burners and air guns.
One of the handy things these apps do is generate a table that shows you the hold adjustments by yardage. I took a screenshot of the table in Strelok Pro and printed it at 50%. I then laminated it in an elementary way using adhesive tape on both sides, and then taped it to the eyepiece bell of my scope. Super handy to refer to. It's so much neater than the way I used to do it with a strip of blue painter's tape on the side of the stock with holdover dope chart data written in with a fine point sharpie.
The Strelok table shows you the holdover/ hold under expressed in MOA. You can choose many other options such as units and data to show, total and incremental distances. The MOA numbers are an exact match to the ticks and numbers in my MOA reticles on the new scopes.
I suppose it's almost as easy to just type up a little chart in a word processor or spreadsheet and then print it out small to cut out and attach somewhere. I think some people put these charts on the inside of their flip-up eyepiece scope cap but I wanted something a little larger.
BTW, this particular chart is for my .25 cal 350mm barrel setup with JSB 34gr @585 FPS. HST is 12 clicks CCW.
