Just got my replacement EDMU to replace the one where the battery had leaked on and melted the plastic. Does the gauge come off just by placing a wrench on the flats and turning counterclockwise. I tried that after loosening the butt stock to get it out of the way. All it did was loosen the back half of the air tube. Bill

just to make sure... you're degassing the Leshiy first! 
loosen the butt with I think a 10mm... then slide it back a bit to make room. You can then simply unscrew it. if it's not enough space, just remove the butt.

Yep degassed for sure. I think it is on extra tight. I was thinking a wood dowel through the fill hole to hold it firm or a round phillips with a few wraps of electrical tape to protect the fill hole. Bill
