I decided to tweak my Leshiy with the .25 / 350mm barrel configuration today, and turned up the Huma reg to 130bar. The 25gr JSBs are coming out far hotter than I anticipated, 886fps (that's like 270m/s / 44FPE, I did t expect that!).
I have the HST data all fleshed out and found both speed curves, so for this particular pellet - what is the ideal speed for stability given it's B.C., is 860fps typically good enough?
This would be for longer range hunting and longer range paper targets, and I'd want to optimize for up to ~10-12mph crosswinds.
The only first hand experiences that I had with it was no more than 115y when I had the reg set way lower (812fps). The winds were 12-15mph and it grouped well, but I don't think they'd have had much more distance in them with that tune.
