Generally speaking, you want the valve to close before the pellet exits the crown. Applies to all airguns.
Short barrel and light pellet means as quick as possible. The larger the jet size the quicker the valve closes. 1.3mm is the largest Edgun manufactures. I have 1.2mm / 1.3mm regulator at 90 BAR 350mm barrel and JSB Redesigns fly around 850FPS. My groups improved after installation of the "new forward plug"

so that mean bigger jets the valve close faster and less air consumption and will increase number of shoots

What would be the jets for .30cal 350mm setup for 44 grain pellets looking for velocities in the range of 800 to 900 fps
