Leshiy 2 piston/gear o-ring

I’m having issues with my Leshiy 2 indexing. It runs a single shot and I have to break the gun to get it to shoot again. I bought it used with this issue. I have watched the “Edgun Leshiy 2 indexing” video and checked most of the featured issues. Issue 7 on that video mentions an o-ring in the piston housing (that turns the gear) I’m not finding an o-Ring in that area. I wonder if I’m misunderstanding or if I’m missing an o-ring. The parts are in good shape. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thank you.

I really hate to suggest it, but you might go through the 5k+ posts here

I know there are a couple of other threads concerning the indexing issue that have blow-ups in them. Also, Ed has them posted on his site and I think edgunwest does.

When you break the gun, does the mag move to its next round? Sort of like it’s trying to index, but doesn’t make it the whole way?
If so, check that the barrel is seated properly, your power puck is in place, the mag plate is in good shape, your mag rolled doesn’t have a flat spot, and your mag turns freely when the gun is closed and locked. Most indexing issues are caused by the above causing drag on the magazine.
If all this is fine, next is to check the R2-D2 setup to see if any of it is worn out, and spring tension is still good.

Also check if you mag plates actually fit flat against the mags. If they do not, they may bind agains the back plate and prevent the mag from rotating freely. If you notice that the mag gets stuck in the middle of the cycle and then completes indexing as soon as you unlock the action, and the barrel gap is good, then this is the next most likely cause.

This can be caused by both bent mag plates and warped mag bodies (if you have polymer mags). I encountered both issues. The tolerances are tight and it does not take much to cause issues. I actually fixed 2 problematic mags by disassembling and griding them flat, now they index flawlessly.
