Leshiy 2 pistol build

I posted this in the custom pics thread and am breaking it off for some more details here.

This is a pistol that I’m in the process of completing. It functions fine but I’ve not had a chance to really get into the tuning yet.

It weighs 2.7lbs and has an 8” barrel. The action doesn’t open for reloading due to the air supply from regulator running to the plenum. The mag has the axle removed and a bushing installed and the action has a retractable axle that’s operated by the lever on the side. This allows mag to slide in/out without opening action.

Ha! I’ve questioned my sanity for years, lol.

Quite a bit of design gets put into the safety aspect of my builds. This started life as a big chunk of 7075 t6. The main tube is temporary. I’ll be making one that extends to the end of the barrel. The plenum may actually get shortened, depending on how the tuning goes and if it needs opened up more.

This is an extremely awesome custom build you've got there. I've been wondering how the L2 could be turned into a pistol with a tank in front and the valve in back. Well done. It would be great to see a Leshiy 2 Pistol to compete with the theoretical Huben pistol coming out.

I used the parts I got from you to upgrade my L2 and used the leftovers for this. So in a way, you’re kinda part of facilitating this…lol

I finished a custom reservoir and put in a spot for a fill probe just above the regulator. Shot it some today just to check for function and leaks. So far so good. The reservoir tube is 7075.

Amazing work you did. This reminds me of when Ed posted as someone else who made changes to the orignal Leshiy, when in fact it was him showing off the new Leshiy 2.
