EDgun Leshiy 2 Noob Seeking Advice

Hi,

First post. I hope this is the right place!

I'm considering purchasing a .177 Leshiy 2 Short (REPR-X) with a 250 mm barrel. I would use it primarily for backyard plinking and secondarily for pest control.

I am somewhat concerned about being a noisy neighbor. Would anyone please comment on how loud this Leshiy 2 is likely to be?

I'm also considering mounting a thermal sight on the Leishi 2. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good thermal sight based on experience?

Does anyone have experience with this configuration? I would love to hear any details that you might wish to share!

Thanks for reading this far!

Leshiy 2 is kinda loud, so you want at least a huma mod 30 with 3 or 4 baffles on it. Heavier is less loud. The DNT TNC 225r is surprisingly clear and you can use night vision plis thermal duo screen with LRF for aroumd $1300new. There is also the Oneleaf Mars1000 that is a 640 res thermal with lrf, it is a very clear thermal but only.thermal . 35mm is 1400 from the website, 50mm is 1700 and 2000for both lenses and they have a 70mm coming soon. There are more expensive options, but those are best bang for the buck. I currently have the TNC225r and just had a 384res nocpix. I have a buddy with a Mars and they have all done a great job.

The Leshiy 2 is a fun airgun. I wouldn’t describe it as backyard friendly unless you have a really big backyard. Mine’s a .22 250mm with STO insert and it’s surprisingly not that loud. Dry firing it sounds broken since it’s so quiet but shooting with a pellet it’s a bit louder. Just make sure you have a compressor. Semi autos goes through air quick.
