EDgun Leshiy 2 Hard Open, now cycling issues

Good evening all,

I made a mistake the other day and accidentally opened the barrel on my Leshiy 2 while the tank/stock was still pressurized. It swung down hard and locked — definitely not my smartest moment.

Since then, I’ve been having cycling issues. I’ve tested all three of my magazines, and the problem persists across all of them. On average, I might get a full 8-shot cycle once every 3 or 4 magazines, but it’s totally random.

I’ve visually inspected the mags and everything looks fine.

Another issue I’ve noticed: occasionally after reloading, the trigger won’t fire — it has full travel with no resistance, as if the safety is still engaged, even though I’ve switched it off.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips.

Thanks in advance!

Next step is check pin in the plastic gear that indexes magazine. They have a tendency to slide forward towards muzzle. This weakens gear engagement with magazine. Knock it back towards stock with pin punch.
Well you called that spot on, it shut hard enough that it broke the indexing arm that holds the metal or plastic roller in place.
Was able to order one today from Edgun West.
Thank you, hopefully this fixes my issue
