So many things to look at but most likely the barrel need to be pulled a few mm away from magazine brain made a video about it. Goodluck m8 mine is working great

Made in UK, does the adapter use a snap ring to set barrel position?

If so, just taking burrs off both sides of it will let the barrel assembly seat further forward.

No snap ring. Just a shoulder like the new barrels. I’m going to try and polish the surface a little As to not remove too much material and see how it does. Wish there was a way of measuring it compared to the alpha barrel to see how much needs to be taken down.

I can, but it doesn’t feel as easy as my .22. Sometimes it does cycle, but not every time. The second I put in the .25 alpha barrel, I unloaded a mag in rapid fire, and it cycled flawlessly. The barrel is the weakest link. Just don’t know how much to take off.

Start with .3mm. I bet that's all it needs.

I’m going to try and polish the surface a little

you cannot polish much material off and you risk rounding the edged and destroying the flat part that squares the mag up to the barrel - work like thas should be done in a lathe
