Leshiy 12fpe Huma tuning recommendations?

12fpe Huma on the way for my Leshiy (thanks for the heads up Btb!) and am wondering if anyone can give me a place to start? I'm going for somewhere around.... 12fpe! For those who use this, did you swap to the lighter hammer spring or just run a higher reg pressure? Also does anyone have a link to the Leshiy tear down video that Ed made? It was removed from youtube last time I searched for it... Just need to know how to swap HS if need be. I've already seen Wingman's video and know how to shorten my valve. Thanks for the help!

I’ve done tons of variations of this.

the best way is to get the 12ft lbs kit from HUMA. EDgun west usually carries them. You can get close without it, but that OEM hammer spring is just too strong. You can get to about 16, but any lower you will smash a valve.

I have the reg at 90 I think, and shoot 25gr out of the 350 at 15 ft lbs. you can obviously go lower

I've got a 12fpe huma kit on the way. How do you swap the HS? Is it as simple as unscrewing the cocking lug and pulling the trigger to drop the sear to pull out the hammer and spring?

Yes, pretty much that's all there is to it.

Yeah you undo the cocking rod and the hammer rod comes out fairly easily. I replaced mine and installed the 12 fpe Huma without the plenum insert.

Thanks guys. Any rec. on what reg pressure to start with? I'd like to shoot the 10.3 pellets around 750fps. What is the purpose of the plenum insert? Just don't use it?
