I dont hear a ping. What's your tune. I'm selling mine just cause of the ping. Maybe you can help me out.

Is the second video with the "bat" supressor?
It sounds quieter than the first, although both sound pretty good.
I was considering the "bat" for my R5M long, but not sure of the cost/benefit.

I can tell you it is awesome on a .25 Lelya. My gut is that is great on any .25 R5 series EDgun but I can not guarantee.

Yes, the R5M Matador platform definitely has a fairly loud ping next to your ear as delivered from the factory. Perhaps it can be “low power tuned” to minimize it, but both .25 R5Ms that I have owned (a standard and long) had an irritating ping next to my right ear. In fact the person that sold me the Standard did so because he just couldn’t live with that noise, even when tuned to 45 FPE. And the Long that I had also had that same ping, especially when tuned to shoot Heavies or Slugs.

Believe there coming on the new guns and can be purchased for an older one. Mine came that way when I bought it. Has neoprene on the outside. I really like it

So I am really enjoying this .177. I have landed on a tune that produces 70 SPF at 915 fps. I am pretty impressed. Report is now super sweet.

My lelya had a terrible ping. Jwilson helped me with fixing the issue. His tuning method is pure genius. I did exactly as he said with the 18.1's. My lelya is now ping free. The only sound I can hear now is the the hammer hitting the valve but once I polish it up the sound should improve. I had it listed for sale. Good thing I didn't accept the offers made . She's staying in my collection. I can't think Jwilson enough.
