I've taken an interests in the soon to be available .30 Wildcat. I shoot left handed and have come across some good option for us Southpaws. Have any of you left hand shooters shot a EdGun R5M or a FX Wildcat. If so, please share your experience.
It's crazy to me that Ed (EdGun) and Fredrik (FX) both shoot Southpaw but don't readily offer a true lefty gun.

I don't know much about FX, never used it, but as for R3M it was, in fact more comfortable for left handed shooter rather thaa for the right one. And those of right handed shooters who understand that asked me to make the bolt on the other side, for them![]()
zx10, I was wondering looking at your cricket if you ever had tried that top cover on a veteran? I don’t know how dimensionally the same they are as I don’t have a cricket. I’ve thought in the past of buying one, if you can, and hacking it up try just to keep my cheek off of cold steel in the winter months. I’ve seen and read about other guys wanting the same. I don’t even know how they are attached on the crickets. Sorry for the off topic question.
Zx10wall,
You seem to work well w/ metal & all. You can try to make a cocking handle like this for the Mutant's. I powercoated this handle. I'm thinking about stripping her & cerakoting her.
Placing a c/f sticker over the Mutant action can help keep the cold off your cheek a lil bit.

Wow , did you make them Cricket levers yourself?
If not where did you buy them,
I am kind of the odd ball, I prefer the rear cocking of my Crickets and Mutants over the front cocking of my Vulcan #2
