Leaks. A negative that goes with this pcp hobby. Before you stress out and feel like your whole guns gonna have to be in pieces, check the Dowty seal at your bottle to block connections first. It’s been my experience that these types of leaks start of really really minute, like less than 5 bar in 24 hours. It could easily be passed off as a pressure loss due to temp fluctuation. I monitor my air pressures regularly and have gone as far as permanently marking my gages with tape as a small leak if gone un noticed will eventually erupt into a large one at the worse time.
Dowty seals in my opinion are taken for granted as if you buy any commercially pre put together o ring kits for guns very rarely do they include the Dowty seals, as they can be reused. But understand they will go bad eventually, and it’s a part not readily available at your local Home Depot or ACE hardware. I source my Dowty seals from discounthydraulics.com, and typically buy each size 5 at a time.
This leak from my impacts bottle could barely be seen, and a flashlight was required-
Most Dowty seals for bottle fed guns are metric, size M12.
It’s very obvious the used one has had its day and is ready to go in the trash
