leaking problem

Hi all,

I did a post about my marauder with a cothran valve leaking a little while ago. so I changed the o rings to find out the air is coming from the valve. that says to me that the poppet might be stuck and that is causing it to leak air. Should I carefully take the valve apart to examine it?

Some times foreign debris is the cause of a valve to leak. Sometimes it can be shot out but other times disassembly is needed to inspect and clean the poppet and seating surface. If you feel comfortable disassembling the valve I would not hesitate. Just make a mental note of how it goes back together, they are not too complicated.
