Leaking foster fitting

11 year old whip with the female foster fitting leaking, can hear the leak under pressure. No leak from shoe box when disconnected. 

A gasket or new a new fitting is necessary?

Check inside the female hole. There is a o ring. Replace it. Should be good to go.

You might just have to change the #009 oring in the female end.

That’s the stuff for new knowledge center on AGN. Trying to get as many actual O-ring sizes in as many guns listed. 

Now I know. 1/8 Female Foster QD #009. 

Anyone know of a cross reference chart for SAE, Metric, Mil-Spec, etc.?

Hope it’s just a ring but August Industries, Nuvair, Northshore compressors, Grainger, any hydraulics supply store should have what you need if not the O-ring. Jimmy or Joe would have anything also, of course.

The internal O-ring for a female Foster is actually a -010. I've replaced quite a few and a Google search returns several airgun references to the -010 size.

Home Depot has them but you need to look up the SAE numbers for the 010. Just purchased them, like $2.50 for half a dozen.

Funny, I went to my local homey depot....

They had 10, 10 packs of all but the # 10!!! Even the assorted mix packs had no #10....

Auto part store set me up.
