Yes Mentalist is completely right! Fill the rifle up to 200 bar and then a half an hour later throw it back up to 200 bar and do that a couple times until it stays exactly at 200 bar after cooling off each time. Then let it sit overnight and check it the next morning, then let it set for another day and check it again and I think you will see that you have no leak at all.

You must learn that when you compress air it gets very hot and the gauge will read one way but after it cools down ncontracts the gauge will read lower pressure. I guess you didn't know this but now you do

Yes I agree wholeheartedly...it looks to me like your air leaks are completely fixed! When you compress air into the air tank it heats up and expands causing your gauge to read one thing...but after it cools down overnight it will read lower. So fill it up to a certain point several times until it stays there and then let it set for a couple days and keep checking it and if it stays the same all your air leaks are fixed! Don't worry...be happy! :)

A quite old post but still very useful !! I've got the same VERY slow leak problem with my SL .22 and this thread is gonna help me a ton :)

@Barreira - I'm also located in western EU. May I ask you where you bought the o-rings from? I can order a replacement kit from a well-known airgun parts supplier, but I bet that I could buy half a dozen units for each reference from an internet hardware store for about the same price. And did you manage to fix your slow leak? I don't see any update from you after Chuck told you to refill to compensate for pressure loss due to t° decrease.

Two things tho, that guy on the video checked if there was any air left on the system by making a few dry shots, not recomended at all. If you shoot the rifle with no air behind the valve you can damage it since there is no resistance on the other side and the valve may over travel, to make it safe i'd do what Ernest did on the minute 5:03 on this video.


Just open the valve manually.

I will second this. I did exactly this on my streamline (dry fire down) and now the valve is leaking. Going to have to buy a new one because of my dry fire.
