The Beeman 2027 front sight is only pressure fit, not glued.
I wiggled my front sight until it came off.
The barrel is 13mm outer diameter and the barrel front is tapered and flat for about 2cm.
As a LDC I used a Crosman NP baffle which is 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) inner diameter.
I slightly enlarged the baffle inner diameter and then pressure fitted it on the barrel.
These are the photos of the DIY LDC (using the Crosman NP baffle) I made for my Beeman 2027.
As you can see the barrel top is flat and tapered downwards.
The photos will show:
This is plastic and has a 1/2-20 thread.
It costs less than $2.50 when ordered from Crosman.
I have used these baffles in more than 10 air guns (Avenger, Nova Liberty, Beemn P17, etc).
The baffle has duct tape around it to make it tightly fit in the black plastic tube.
Inside the tube are hair curlers and felt, which is likely one of the cheapest and most quiet moderators out there.
At the end of the tube there is duct tape which prevents the internals from getting out and also prevents the air from getting out.
The entire LDC is made from plastic, felt and duct tape.
I hope nobody thinks that this can be used on a firearm.

- a baffle (same part as above) with an inner diameter slightly enlarged (using a Dremmel) to fit very tightly on the barrel
The baffle has duct tape around it to make it tightly fit in the black plastic tube.
